On the weekend i scored a free ticket from Alex's brother for the V festival in Gold Coast and it just so happened that Rini was down here for it. So yesterday we trained it to the gold coast to see a few live bands. I was really looking forward to the rapture which were really awesome live, gnarles barkley were funky as as well as groove armada. I haven't danced that much for a very long time and it felt good to get it out. This french band with two chick singers were pretty cool called nouvelle vague playing a lot of covers including too drunk to fuck.
On Friday night sam, rini and I got way too pissed to go to this party we were planning on going to down the road and it ended in me waking up early saturday morning not knowing where the hell i an who this chick was lying next to me.lol, and I also haven't drank that much in a long time either.
It's getting really cold down here.. almost like Townsville's winter. It's spun out. Today after work my car wouldn't start and it was weird.. I didn't know what to do..(obviously call racq) but i knew i had no money so i called my sister and she said she could transfer some money if I ended up needing some. Luckily I didn't, the racq man just gave me a start and the battery recharged itself on the way home. It's kinda scary when you don't live with your parents anymore let alone far far away from them and you face these unexpected problems. Now I understand why saving some spare money is pretty vital.
