Yay for baking!

A night where I'm not either bouncing around procrastinating like mad or working frantically finally fell into my hands, so I thought I'd update. Life's been interesting to say the least and I'm rather glad that time currently is not going particularly slower or faster than it is. Although, there are small periods of time where I wish I had just one more (or less) half an hour...

Projects are slowly getting done. I wish I didn't have three presentations coming up but I managed to get them distributed to one a week so I have time to prepare for each individually. Thinking I might spend some time at the downtown library this weekend to work on my Japanese homework, too. I think I'm looking forward to getting a laptop this summer, there is nothing so frustrating as being pinned at home or school just because I need a computer to work on whatever piece of homework needs doing.

I have been baking a lot recently whether or not I've had the time. Scones, cheese muffins, chocolate muffins... Not gay muffins (Thank you for that bit of knowledge, Hollie! *grins*), just the normal flour, sugar, and other ingredients kind. No cookies yet, but that will have to wait until I pick up more flour this weekend. I like baking. It's so straightforward and relaxing and comes together well every time. Unless I burn what I'm making since our oven is so hot. Even when I turn the cooking temperature down by 50 degrees I still have to watch or they end up overdone! It's very strange. But my muffins came out perfectly today so I am pleased.

And so life goes on. Oh! And I finished knitting the body of my shawl! Now I just have to add the fringe. I'm so pleased!
