Ravelry - Could it be the new crack for knitters?
So, um, I went to knit club last night and they hooked me into signing up for yet another community-based website. Only this one is made of so much awesome I think I might never do work at work again. Once my invite comes, anyway.

Right now it's in beta testing so you can't just sign up but you can put your e-mail in for getting an invite and it tells you about how long you'll have to wait. Today for instance it is approximately two days. I can handle that. And it hooks up to flickr and blog sites so I can integrate my photos and bits of life with my profile instead of adding yet another useless, unused blog to my collection. There's also a look-up for free patterns or wool types where you can get new project ideas and see pictures and comments from others who've done/are doing the same things.
