This is what happens when you stay up writing about your weekend all night: you decided at 9:15 that you much rather have a delightful monday morning rather than one filled with silly italian exercises, and thus you stay under your Ikea comforter in your half-lit room and blog some more.
I'm going to justify skipping italian for the 4th time this semester (i've now moved into the "we frown upon your shoddy class attendance" zone) by saying that, besides bio, which i'd have to be brain-dead not to get an A in, it's the only class i've skipped any of this semester, and it's mostly because i'm just dragging myself through it. If i thought i was gaining heaps and loads from it, or from learning italian at all, i'd go. Instead, i maintain my way with words with my laptop on my lap lying in bed. I think i'll read some David Sedaris next.
But before that, a picture.
I wish i was smart enough to label each person with some sort of HTML magic, but i'm not, so listen closely. This was from a couple of weeks ago at my friend Sam's birthday. In this photo are a ton of key players in this lovely story of a blog. They are as follows:
- Towards the middle right there's me with my mouth wide open
- To my right, with the short dirty blonde hair, is Rachel
- To my left sort of facing me is Kevin's roommate Ian, who i guess doesn't come up too much on here but is a pretty good friend
- Behind Rachel and somewhat obscured by her hair, is the infamous Sara Mac, Kevin's other ex
- Between the window and the door frame on the left, in the blue shirt, is Kevin himself
- And, if you look hard enough at the group of people in the door frame in the left back there's a small smiling face in the shadows about an inch down from the chandelier that is the lovely Leandra Burnett, who again that night brought up the strange fact that we know all the same people on the internetz.
