They're up now! I bought the blue-haired girl, too :D

Some of them can't be bought at the moment, and I figured out that it's the ones that come with extra outfits -- hope they put them up on the site soon.

There are also going to be some new girls who aren't being shown yet -- specifically, I noticed that the curvy girl with burgundy hair in the center of the first pic on the main Barbie site isn't available.

But, yes -- super excited about this!

Now, if only they'll put out *jointed* versions of these Barbies -- I was frustrated to see jointed limbs in the Time video, but they chose to go with the basic-type limbs for the introduction of the new body types (probably to keep the cost down, in case they flop.)

I don't normally collect non-jointed dolls (it's a way for me to keep my collections under control -- I currently own two Barbies), but I had to make an exception to support the introduction of the "Curvy" body type.

I do wish they hadn't gone with 2 different foot sizes -- that's going to make shoes challenging. It's unclear whether these girls have flatter feet, or whether they have the jointed ankles that were mentioned in the video.

But, yes -- much excitement!! :D

Yeah, I hope joints evolve, but I was pleased at the price point.

Ok, so shoes:
"There will now be two Barbie shoe sizes, one for curvy and tall and another for original and petite." It seems like some are flat and some are arched, but that might just be due to the rubbery feet? They can usually be squished into either if the shoe is made properly. Some of the shoes are fantastic!
(Kat doll fits into the newer flats, and has big dolly bewbs so I am selfishly interested in allll of it...)
