Potter party
We had an amazing night! As usual, my friends went above and beyond and the weather was absolutely perfect to take the party outside. I didn't quite get a picture of everyone or everything, but I had fun and everyone else seemed to. We had snacks and butterbeer and chocolate frogs and lots of candles and magic. I always have a moment of sheer panic before this party. I wonder why I do it and then my friends arrive, happy and dressed head to toe in costumes they thought long about and worked hard on, I remember that that is why.
Also, now our house is filled with battery powered candles and we have leftover snacks and Mat and the kids have the next two days off for the hurricane! Woo! Maybe! Seriously, I think this area and NJ are getting the worst of it, so I hope everyone is safe.
