Well, I'm back.

Left the house around 5 and drove to Decorah, arriving there at 10. Stayed in the Country Inn, Dad snored. ::eye roll:: Woke up around 7:30, packed up, and headed to Luther.

They took me straight to the music department where I practiced for maybe twenty minutes and then I went to meet Dr. Virginia Strauss - violinist. I explained my ill-prepared situation, and she told me to play as much as I could. So I did.

Except, I had the pages of my music in the wrong order.

Cause I'm a blonde, B-L-I-N-D!

I'm so glad I have most of the first part of the Concerto memorized. I realized that instead of looking at the second page I was looking at the third one and switched easily without too much trouble. My intonation sucked though. And there were some parts I just didn't play well. Feh.

But she said I qualified for an 'intermediate' scholarship. She didn't say there would be a dollar amount for about another week or so though. But hey! I got a scholarship! w00t! ^^

Luther totally won me over. If I'm accepted, I'm going there. It's a great school and their music department is really expansive. Three orchestras :3 SEVEN CHOIRS! :D Makes me happy lol.

After my visit to Luther, we piled in the car and headed to Dubuque to visit Clarke. My audition sucked there too, by the way. And I put my music in the wrong order. AGAIN! What the fuck is wrong with me!? XD

My Lord, Clarke is the size of MY HIGH SCHOOL. And all of their classes are in ONE BUILDING. No orchestra. Just a youth symphony.

...not going to Clarke. I'd rather go to Morningside than Clarke. At least Morningside is bigger than the student body of North High. o_o

Left Clarke around 6, got home at 11:30. Checked my overflowing inbox, read some journals, konked out in bed. Dead until 9:45 this morning.

GWEN! We can watche The Two Towers tonight!!! I'm going to call you soon :3 Susan, you can come too if your parents will let you ^^;

I'm going to take a shower now. And start to write again :D Byes!
