I got plenty of sleep, but I am dead tired. I think my dreams were just mentally exhausting.
Yeah, Grandfather not being in a nursing home isn't affecting me. That's why I have crazy dreams about my parents leaving for Tibet and me having to take care of him O_o;;;
But anyway. It's Valentines day. And I hate today. Do you know how many spam emails I got this morning having to do with Valentines day?!?!!? GAAAAHH!!
I promised a rant on Valentines day today, but I'm just too tired to do it. You all know why I hate Valentines day. I have no one special to share it with. And I'm sure that if I had a boyfriend, I'd probably feel differently about today, but I don't. So I hate it.
I also promised a rant on ff.net going to the slashers. Okay, so I don't mind slash fics being there. Whatever floats your boat, mate, but for God's sake, LABEL THEM!!! I ran across like ten Legolas/Aragorn and Legolas/Gimli fics this morning. Some that WERE NOT LABELED. AND DESERVED AN NC-17 RATING! x_x
Like I said, I don't mind the presence of slashers, but there are just so many it's hard to find non-slashed fics. Especially on ff.net. It's getting really old and really kind of disturbing. Like the Fred/George ones in the Harry Potter section o_o That's just wrong. VERY WRONG.
I think that there should be separate section for slash fics, on ff.net just because there are so many of them out there. Or we need a place for non-slashers to post their fics.
While I'm thinking about it, does anyone know of a place that is specifically for non-slashers? That would shut me up really fast XD
I'm going to look for one now. And perhaps void this rant. Who knows. Farewell! I'm off to find the sun! :3
[Edit: I have found one site called Open Scrolls. It's a non-slash site. I'm still on my non-slash finding mission though.]
