Sing me a lullaby...
Tonight's going to be one of those nights that will make my tomorrow a living hell, but today was really great so I suppose it won't be that bad.
So we had to go to East this morning for orchestra. We got there, practiced, and I am royally pissed off because I'm sitting second stand. I don't want to sound like a brat, but I know I'm better than Linda and Su. And they get to sit first stand just because they go to East? Great. I feel like I've accomplished something. ¬.¬;;; Grr. But at any rate, I got to first period really late because Mrs. Patterson doesn't know how to get to the bypass XD But whatever. Let's view the choices here. Economics ... Driving around town at 8 in the morning ... .... Driving.
yeah.
Second period we started watching Cool Runnings. Do you know how many times I've seen that freaking movie?! But it's funny so I don't really mind. "Let me draw a line down your face so it look like a butt." <-- favorite line.
Third, choir. Yeah.
Fourth, yearbook. Got a lot of work down on the Royalty page. And my favorite stupid quote of the day --> "Drinking doesn't make you loose brain cells..."
Algebra. Feh.
During AP English we had a milk + cookies + poetry day. It was awesome. ^^ We read poems and talked about the literary devices in them and such and had milk and cookies (obviously). Then Ms. Dahle read us from a book called "Love That Dog". It's a book full of poetry written by a kid named Jack, except the poems are all like minature conversations with his teacher. It was like a story. I felt so comfortable. I love it when people read to me, or when I'm sung to sleep. Yeah. I'm a big baby. But I think that's why I like listening to "To the Edge of Night", "Return of the King", and "Into the West" at night - because I'm being sung to sleep.
But anyway, I practically fell asleep in AP.
Then in 7th, we started this new song. I can't remember the name, but it reminds me of Eowyn [now that we know I'm obsessed......] and her feelings towards Aragorn.
GAH! What is it called?!?!?!?!?!
The Bushes and the Briars? Something like that...But it's absolutely beautiful.
And Towns is going to ruin it by having Varsity sing it. GRRR!!
But today was great.
