I'M EXCITED!
I found a copy of Helm's Deep on KaZaA Lite and downloaded it. NOW I CAN PLAY THE VIOLIN THEME!!! WOOT!!! It is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard (in a movie soundtrack, that is). And the violin they play it on has the most bizzare timbre (at least, I think so), it makes it sound very haunting and mysterious. I have most of the notes figured out. I'll have to practice it a bit before I get a recording up on the good 'ole net though :3

[Edit I just got "Into the West" by Annie Lennox. IT MADE ME CRY! I love Howard Shore. You know, if it weren't for his beautiful music I probably would have never cried in the movie. That's the thing about musicians, when the music is beautiful enough, we all bawl (except maybe my dad). The score for the Lord of the Rings is definetly one of the great things about the trilogy. The music is so perfect and placed at the perfect time. Like just before the battles ::swoon:: I love this soundtrack. I'm burning a copy for Susan so we can rant about it together X3 This is the best music...::bawls::]
