I got Kirsten's present. :) Finally! So I open it up to check to see if it is indeed the correct item.....and hello to the staticky foam pieces! Looking back on that moment it probably would have gone better if I'd put my hair up, to keep the foam out of it. There's foam everywhere. *sigh* But I got Kirsten's present and that's what matters! :)
Pretty tired today...Bill called last night and when I got to talk to him it was almost 10 and I had taken a sleeping pill. He actually called me 3 times but I didn't know it was him 'cuz he was using a calling card. *doh* The updated situation is he will be home on the 11th. He is keeping the jeep, but it will not be fixed for a while. So he is driving the rental home and then back out to Indiana when the jeep is ready. I suggested going along with him and he perked up at that....so I may be able to add another state to my map of places I've been soon. :) He doesn't know about our V-day trip..he'll be home of course but it depends on his funds. We shall see.
I think I've developed a brain condition whereby I'm stupid...I almost missed Gilmore Girls again last night. I missed the first minute I guess, slamming the tape into the VCR and frantically hitting record at 8:02pm. *sigh* At least I didn't miss 40 minutes this time. I need a better schedual I think. I used to always know when my shows were on. Maybe I can make a chart or sumthin to remind myself. :p It's not hard really, Gilmore Girls Tuesday, Angel and Newlyweds Wednesday.
Lots o stuff today...work, Kirsten's honorary B-day, Angel's 100th episode...and I haveta go by the clinic tonight. I've decided I'm gonna get tested, make sure I am disease-free. It's a little weird....and I'm nervous. But it is something I should do for myself, and also for Bill in case things progress there.
