On another note, I got Kirsten's b-day gift yesterday, only, not....the company sent me the wrong item. I am not pleased and have sent them an email that strongly conveyed my displeasure.
I am running on about 4 hours sleep....I got a phone call at 11 pm last night from Bill's roomate's wife, who was frantic, trying to find Bill. Seems he contacted his insurance company about the accident but when they called him back they called him at his home, not his parents.....so his roomies were worried, especially since the insurance company wouldn't tell them anything. Bill also did not leave a forwarding number at his base like he was supposed to, so he had the Navy looking for him as well....so who do these people come to looking for answers? Why his girlfriend of 3 weeks of course. :p Luckily I did have his mom's phone number because at least he called me like he was supposed to. While I was on the phone with this woman, chatting for like an hour, Bill called her. Then she told him to call me and he literally called me at midnight. I was like 'Dude, it's midnight. When I said for you to call I meant sometime soon.....not right now.' :p
So after this drama was taken care of, and everyone got in touch with everybody else, it's all okay. And I have to say I did learn some stuff from talking to the roomate's wife..she's apparently known Bill for a while, and she gave me quite a bit of info. Good info. And said she's never seen him as happy as when I call or when he's talking about me. AWWWW.
