Update on Rylan
Hi all,
Rylan's still in the NICU. They're running some more tests today to see if he has a genetic problem. I really don't think he does, because his O2 sats have been staying up really well these past couple of days, but the neonatologist just wants to be cautious. He still has pulmonary hypertension, but he seems to be handling it better.
On a positive note, he is breastfeeding now! He ate for 20 minutes last night and 27 this morning (phew!). They're still feeding him pumped milk through the tube at night, but no formula yesterday or today, which makes me really happy.
I'll keep you all posted on what the geneticist says.
