Throat is constricting. Nose is dripping. Head is pounding. Ankle is throbbing. And I'm waiting til tickets go on sale. The International Society sponsors reduced rate trips around the UK. The first week of my break there's a three day trip into the Highlands which usually would cost an arm and a leg. All accomodation paid for (we're staying in a castle) and travel and breakfast are included too. The problem is that the tickets go on sale today at noon in the computer lab, and it's packed in here already. Everyone's nonchalantly checking their email, killing time, and carefully eying the Internation Society desk. Waiting. Then it'll be a race to see who can collect their stuff first, log-off their computer, push down those around them and make it to the line first. Insane. And I really don't have the brain powed for it. My head is so mucus-logged right now that my brain feels fuzzy.

I have no tissues. Gah. I was burning up on the way over here, walked without a coat on in weather that you can practically write your name in the air with you breath. Just me in short sleeves. Everyone else kinda stared at me funny... But I was boiling as I usually am. Somehow I'm guessing that that's not the best idea when you're sick, but really, at this point...

Jess has done wonders in checking out prices and stuff for our spring break. It's way more than I'd like to ever spend in my life, but for two-three weeks travelling all over Europe it ain't half bad. We're looking at under a thousand dollars. Eur-rail passes are amazing. 15 days unlimited travel (including night trains, saving us hostel costs) for around 350. We're looking at Italy, France, Russia, Spain (I threw in Transylvania after seeing an actual Transylvania University sweatshirt today)... We're both planning on heading to Ireland at some point too. I know I've got to visit Mary and Bachman yet, and I think Jess has family friends over there too. It'll be a wild time. AND AND AND Mom and Papa might be coming at the beginning of April!!!! YYYAAAAAAAAYYY!!!! I think they'll want to stay mostly in the UK, but I should find out more about that soon. Besides, Mom wouldn't do very well in the Chunnel.

Anybody know any quick tricks to getting over a cold? Here's my game plan so far: drink tons of water, sleep a lot, skip rugby training, whine a lot, eat relatively healthily, blow my nose, and pray that I don't die. I'm even taking cold medicine. Well, sometimes anyway. Whenever I'm not taking painkillers for my ankle. I really don't want to take too many different meds at once. Not something I enjoy. Weirds me out.

So much work to do. Have two more plays to read for this week (one for tomorrow, one for Thurs.) and then must get started on next weeks readings. And then the presentation that I talked about before. And the essays. Really, why am I online instead of working on all of that stuff? Honestly...

Hmm, I think the line is forming. We've still got over an hour left to wait... This is ridiculous. Okay, I'm tired of it. I'm going to locate Jess and let her keep an eye on things while I read or pass out.

Mmmmm... Pass out.....
