::sulk:: My adult milksnake escaped sometime between last night and this afternoon. I had better find him.

And also, my iguana who was rescued, Gus, is doing wonderfully. He is putting on lots of weight, is still pretty friendly, and is eating like a PIG. If you saw him eat, you'd seriously think that I never feed him. He attacks anything green. He loves going outside, and even started to scurry up a tree the other day. Luckily, he was wearing his leash. :) He's pretty friendly for a 3 year old male iguana, too. He's gaining weight and is very energetic, and has only tail whipped me maybe 3 times, including a vet trip. And the other times were my fault when I startled him. He's never even tried to bite me. Him and I seem to have a pretty good relationship. Whenever I walk into the house, I saw "Hey Gus!" and he perks up. He likes to eat from my hand, but I try to keep this to a minimum. I don't want him to get so used to it that he won't eat from his dish. But he's a very energetic eater, so I don't think there's too much to worry about. He's funny in the sense that he isn't fond of bread. Most iguanas will sell you down a river for a bit of whole wheat bread. But not gus. I have to persuade him to eat a dime sized amount of whole wheat bread, which is what I use to soak up his medicine. He does NOT like a syringe going towards his mouth. No sir he does not.

Ok the end. Wish me luck in finding Nigel.
