No Plastic Challenge Trial #1
So I went to the Publix to pick up just a few things this evening. I usually shop at the Dekalb Farmer's Market, so this was an interesting little trial.
I wanted blueberries or strawberries - nope, not a berry option without a plastic container.
I also needed carrots - humm, the only carrots not in a bag had the tops on them - what does one do with those leaves? I put them in the yard for the neighborhood bunny - we'll see if he munches on them.
Apple juice - one brand in glass - it was the brand I usually buy. Lucky Me!
I also bought peaches, bananas, a cucumber, and Lara bars. I brought my own bags - so I have to claim success on trial trip #1, but I had to give up some of my favorites.
