Okay people. Not a big deal, but I've decided to give you a run down on the history of me, my name, my real name, and something else I can't think of right now.
I blame - "Iris" by the Goo-Goo Dolls.
As you know, my tag name is KittyMayhem. I go by several other names.

No, you won't find them as other names here on LJ :) Just KittyMayhem.
I namely go by KittyMayhem, Khaotix, and more importantly Kataca Millian. Why? Kataca is the name of my cat-like Icon, and my personality within a story I've created over the years about my online character.
As for my real name? My real name is Stephanie. *waves* Hi!
The history behind the name KittyMayhem is simply this:
KittyMayhem is the code name of the story featuring my character Kataca. The beginning stories are about my character and her family, the things they go through and how life flips itself at the drop of a hat. It's a good bit of fantasy, and there are many characters to be met within this realm.
Kitty, of course, is because my world is feline based. The funny thing about that is that I am truly allergic to cats. I love cats! I've always loved cats, but being near one is the death of my nose and my allergies declare war every single time. So, to honor my love of the feline race--particularly the black panther--I've kittified my world.
Mayhem...doesn't need much explanation. Mayhem is the representation of everything that happens in my life, whether it is here online, in my stories, or in my personal life. For me, there's never too much of a dull moment. Ever. If you've ever read anything of mine, you know things tend to get a little crazy. Okay, a lot crazy. :) I'm not used to quiet. My mind is never quiet. It's always a field of ideas, voices, plans, and music thumping against my forehead. I don't have a moment where I'm not thinking about creating something or finishing something. It's utter chaos, because I 'm everywhere! :D
Mayhem is chaos to me...and Chaos has been embedded into a character I call Kane. Kane is the nuttier side of me. He'll do or say anything spontaneously, all within justice of being said with or without approval. He is his element, and sometimes I feel that I'm close to being like that. Namely when I'm sleepy or enraged. :) It's not a bad thing, but I don't think I'd know what to do with myself if I was silent.
So you know, this is Kataca and Kane:
Two very different people: Two very different stories.
I've posted a piece of my character's story up already...and I plan to post the rest on another day. As for Kane's story, he ties into another epic. that has been with me for eleven years.
As for ME, Stephanie, :) You read. I'm a little nuts...but I'm here, ready to write, ready to draw, ready to prove myself...and ready to make friends. Now that's saying a lot for a girl who didn't trust anyone growing up. I've come a long way, and I want to go further. :)
