Just so ya know...
The Toy Story project is still very much alive. It just got put on pause for a while because we didn't have any masking tape. The tape came in yesterday, but I've been feeling completely wiped out from my Secret Project™ megafailure/temporary setback, a minor stomach bug, and a lousy sleep schedule. Within the next day or two there should be more progress reports cropping up as I start properly building characters.
In case anyone's interested, tomorrow (if I remember) I will take some pictures of the projection booth where I work and post an explanation of the job(s) I do there. I know a lot of people find mine to be a very interesting job (myself included) but something of a mystery, and since I keep posting pictures of trailers being used to weigh down boxes, I might as well give everyone a good clear idea of exactly how those fit into the bigger picture of 35mm film projection. It's cool stuff, and I love my job (I just wish it paid more). So. If I remember, watch for that tomorrow.
