Am I the only one ?
That genuinly likes differences?
Between places, between schools, cultures, languages, persons?
Because lately it seems like everything's fading and blending into eachother.
Esperanto (ok, that was a long time ago, but still),
Myspace is fusing with Facebook (is it a rumor or is it true?)
The belgian school system's going to do it like the Netherlands,
so that when students transfer here,
it would be easier to adapt.
But wouldn't that all be very boring?
Isn't it just cool to just stand up and say;
"Well here, we do things differently!" ?
Ok, I can understand the agreement upon the easiness of the euro or Esperanto,
(and I'm totally in for the globalisation of one metric system!)
But we're just losing our origins.
I encourage change and evolution,
But please, don't let everything become one big blur of reality.
Let there be difference and originality.
