I've beenw atching the Olympics, although mainly paying attention to Canada only. I still think it sucks that the USA is beating us in the medel count lol

Haha, I dont really think Canadian's have an accent. Canada is way to multi cultural to have one set accent or way of speaking. The french Canadian's have a french accent, well because they're french lol. The Maritimers have an accent because of the strong gaelic influence that part of canada has. The Native's have their own accent because of the way they where brought up to speak and how speaking their language affects there speech. Out west the farmers and such have their own type of accent, more of a country twang to their words, so thats an accent too.
We dont all sound the same, and most of us in Canada dont think we have accents, not something that would immideatly make our country of origin known, like an english accent, or a hindi accent or caribean accent lol.
