amphibians
midday I started feeling a bit sick, swollen throat and such. Now all the symptoms are starting to attack me. It's no surprise really, so many people have been sick at work and school. UGH.
Fennel is really protective of me and the house. She and Taqi bark when anyone walks by. When they are in the yard they both freak out. So that includes people walking up to the house. Last week I jokingly said it sounds like Fennel is gonna bust through the window and attack someone. Well, today my friend Nick came over to go to class with me cause he is going on our field trip to Highlands, NC to look for salamanders with us. Anyway...he's walking up to the house and Fennel is not pleased. She growls/barks and jumps against the window with her front paws. It breaks into large pieces. YIKES! She's ok just a little startled. Luckily that window is one of the select few to have a storm window, so it kept her from jumping all of the way out of the window.
I sort of patched up the window for now. picture in the slide show.
After that we went out looking for amphibians. It was a success.
