Yesterday Kroeg, Sarah, Jessi and Rita came over to knit and crochet. Good times. I think we are going to try to make this a regular thing. Sarah opened her etsy store, check it out, she makes super cute stuff.
Afterwards I found myself incredibly tired around 11:30. I fell asleep, only to awaken at 4am, feeling quite awake. I went back to sleep after an hour, but couldn't sleep past 8am. I'm pissed, I was really planning on sleeping in, mainly because tomorrow I have to wake up early. I suppose I'll spend this time doing the school work I've been putting off. School is starting to get intense. 2 exams this week. I'm getting a bit nervous.
I've been enjoying all of this snow, other than getting stuck in it, and thinking I'm going to die while driving in it with my shitty tires. Went birding on Thursday, it felt good hiking through deep snow. We found 3 birds that I was able to add to my life list: Horned Lark, Northern Shrike, Dark Phase Rough-Legged Hawk (sooo beautiful).... but no luck finding the Pine Grosbeak.
Plans are going well for camping on my birthday. There are a few of us going. I can't wait to start camping again. It feels so good to be outside.
