I'm having this urge to laugh at something inappropriate. I want to be a good person, but damn, fate sometimes makes it hard.
What do you do when something strikes you as funny even when it shouldn't; when you watch someone make a silly ass of themselves? Can you help what makes you laugh? Do you force the corners of your mouth down to a smooth, flat line and deny you see it - much less the ridiculous level of humor in it? And wouldn't that just make you a liar if you denied it and acted as though it wasn't funny?
Pookie tells me it's human nature, that people sometimes laugh when they see someone trip and fall not because they embarrassed themselves but because it's so easy to identify with landing on your butt in public. By the way - that's not what the silly ass in question did.
