happy first day of spring!
so here we are at the first day of spring. i've made some progress on my spring cleaning my life project - not nearly as much as i would have liked, of course, but then, such is the nature of my life lately it seems.
i have finally taken a huge step in terms of the clutter project. i'd mentioned previously that i had a lead on someone who might be willing to trade her clutter-busting services in exchange for theta healing. well, i finally got past my terror over letting a stranger see my messy house and contacted her, and we've scheduled two appointments - one on tuesday afternoon to start with my clutter, and another on wednesday for her first theta session, since she prefers to do them at different times. we're doing a straight hour-for-hour trade. i'm really looking forward to it even more since we've spoken because i got a really good vibe from her and i'm far less nervous about her judging me for my mess now. :)
last week i had a reiki appointment with the reiki master who did my level 1 atunement - it seemed like a good idea to have an appointment or three with her before i start practicing on other people - and that was fantastic. i got to see how she integrates the reiki with the theta, and it was one of the best experiences i've had with any kind of energy work . it is such a powerful combination as i've seen in my own personal practice. it was amazing and awesome, and i'm so grateful that she is working with me for a reduced fee so that i can manage it a little more easily during this interesting financial time. at the end of that session i felt so much greater clarity about everything, and she removed some blocks that i had in terms of not feeling like i had anything worthwhile to offer in terms of making this my new career. i really can't wait to go back to her again, though of course i have to wait until i figure out where the money situation is at.
in a nice little reminder that the universe can be filled with an abundance of delights, i received a package in the mail from juniperus with a lovely assortment of bpal fragrance samples. i'm really going to enjoy trying them out in the coming days. :D
and in another example of unexpected abundance, in fandom news, i've had the lovely experience in the past few days of somebody discovering my work for the first time and working her way through quite a bit of my fic list, leaving me wonderful, smile-inducing reviews along the way - always nice when that happens. :D
