the big news is that i got my business cards that i ordered! yay! they are pretty and i am happy. :D if anyone wants one, let me know and i'll be happy to send one out to you. i was looking at them and almost having a little bit of an identity crisis, because of course they are in my rl name, but many of the people i've worked with so far know me as kitty. i almost feel like i need a second set, lol.
in other news, i've uploaded three of my snupin_ldws drabbles to tpp. i'll get the last two up in the next few days. i also uploaded something that is not fanfic that i wrote for lily childs' friday prediction a few weeks back, though the site is being cranky and has put it into the fanfic drabble area even though it should go under original. anyhow, it's called sapphire and i like that it is kind of poetical.
oh, i'm also excited because sunnythirty3 has volunteered to alpha read my sshg wip. i had just been thinking i needed an alpha reader and i was going to post a cry for help in this space, but then we were chatting and she volunteered, so yay! i was looking at it last night to try to get it in some kind of shape, and i decided i actually like most of what's there, which is a huge relief, as i've really not looked back at it much as i've been writing it, i've just been trying to keep going and get it done. it's pretty much a straight romance, no other genre need apply, which is intentional - it's my attempt to see if i'm actually capable of writing a romance novel.
and speaking of sunny, voting is open until wednesday at 6pm eastern time at snupin_ldws , where sunny is still contention, so there's some incentive to go read and vote even though i'm not in it any longer.
also, note to self: if you start feeling a little depressed, notice if you are doing your daily theta practice like you are supposed to, and if not, hop to it!
