Day 15 - Young and Raw Smoothie of the Day Recipe - Energy Booster Green Smoothie!
- 1 cup pineapple
- 1 orange
- 1 handful cilantro
- 2 cups greens of choice
- 1 cup coconut or regular water
today mark's the mid-point of the challenge - wooot! i used my next to last blood orange and went with spinach as the green of choice - something that would never have happened two weeks ago. this smoothie was quite delicious. since it was only one cup of (frozen) pineapple, i was able to manage the blending so that i didn't need to add extra water, which i think helped boost the pineapple flavor enough to fulfill the potential that hasn't quite been realized with some of the other pineapple recipes. this is a winner in my book.
and tomorrow we start mint! yay!
in other news, i finished proofreading the ms i was working on as best i could. i'm sure there is stuff that slipped through, which sucks, but oh well. i'm only human, and we are still getting our process down. *shrugs* i just can't beat myself up about not being perfect the way that i used to, lol.
also, they talked with my coworker and i will definitely be adding thursday to my weekly work schedule. on the one hand, i will miss my four-day weekend. on the other hand, i will welcome the income and am looking forward to possibly making enough to actually support myself again without having to dip into my savings on a regular basis.
