i started my blog!  i gave up on the personalized image for now because frankly i am not up to the challenge, lol.  and the truth is, i kind of accidentally published the post i was fiddling with, and then i thought, what the heck, because if i try to get it 'right' or 'perfect' i will just put it off longer.  the perfect is the enemy of the good

When I first started reading your entry here, I said to myself, "Don't let the perfect get in the way of the good, Kitty"... and sure enough, you say it yourself almost immediately! I think Valentine's day was an appropriate time to start it. I know that I picked February 2 to start muse_channels because it was Candlemas (traditionally the day to bring light back to the world. It was the Muse's idea.)

hee. i am amused that you read my mind. and i like the significance of the date you picked to start your community. i didn't even do it consciously, at first, it just kind of happened, lol. *thanks spirit guides for nudging, no doubt*

and yay! i saw your comment! though i've not yet replied. and - the other person who read it said she couldn't see how to sign up to follow it via email, so i tried to add that function, lol. but you say you already did. i'm so confused by everything over there, i'm stumbling around in the dark right now. it will get better, i'll keep telling myself.

and i really appreciate your interest and support, mimi. i posted on fb that i started my blog and of the 18 notifications i had this morning, not one person liked or commented on that post. i'm trying not to feel too disappointed and bitter about it, lol. i decided to assume that my post got lost in the shuffle overnight, so i reposted and two people liked that post, so now i feel better, lol.

At the very bottom, right hand side, there is a + Follow in a dark box. If you click on that, it asks for your e-mail address and name so that you can get updates. Yeah... you pretty much have to be actively looking for it.

hmm. i see that button, only it's in a different location, lol. and i think if you don't have a wordpress blog, it asks for your e-mail. if you have a wordpress blog, which the other person does, it adds it to my 'reader' which i imagine is like the wordpress version of my friends page, only i have no idea where that is or how to access it, lol. i do not find wordpress at all simple or intuitive.
