Many of you might not know this but i actually listen to country music, sometimes. I don't listen to sad country because it makes me cry, and i don't listen to patriotic country because its written in a board room to make people buy more records.
But once in a while a little country will come out with some good wisdom to it. While men might disagree i think "earl's had to die" is a good example another might be "fancy" and of course anything by Dolly (she's my hero).
But lately the song i have been hearing that inspired this post has a chorus that goes as such,
If you're going through hell
Keep on going, Don't slow down
If you're scared, don't show it
You might get out
Before the devil even knows you're there
so i thought i'd share.
