(no subject)
I just got in at 11:15 and apparently I'd just missed my grandma calling me by a second! Bit late for my grandma to be up! Anyway, she wanted me to phone my dad - he has some mail for me apparently. WHAT MAIL?? B.S. mail that's what. I'm not calling HIM. I asked Kate if anybody else had called me (!) - of course, he hadn't.
Met Jane and her friend "Blind" at about 6:30. Andrew joined us a little later. About half an hour before we left the pub to go to the cinema, I was just finishing the dregs of my drink, thinking we were about to leave at that point, when some smart dressed man walked up to our table and asked me "can I get you another of what you were drinking, or a glass of wine or something" (no, he wasn't bar staff). I was STUNNED! Anyway, I was really polite back (go me!) and said "thank you, that's very nice of you but we are just leaving now". He introduced himself and then went back to his table at the other end of the bar. Blind said "he's bloody brave, how does he know I'm not your boyfriend or something?!?" Good point! Anyway I felt a little bad then because immediately after he'd gone back to his table Andrew bought us a drink each and we were there for another half hour :( As we were leaving Blind was saying "let me go and get his number for you" and Jane said "at least he looked like he had a job", but I wasn't interested.
In the pics there were separate life size cut outs of Brad & Angelina for Mr & Mrs Smith. I SOOOOOO wanted to steal the "Mrs" one, but unfortunately there were lots of security guards around. When we left though I could so easily have got away with it but for some reason it just didn't happen. Sob!
The film (Batman Begins) was good, though I thought nowhere near as good as the other Batman films as it was a completely different format. I love the look and more comic book feel of the other films and the OTT villains and stuff. Cillian Murphy was very yummy - though I expected that.
Anyway .....
