Casa Loma's Renaissance Festival

Step back in time and experience the excitement and adventure of the Renaissance this Canada Day weekend as Casa Loma's estate gardens will be transformed into a Renaissance-style village populated by vendors, village characters and the court of King Henry VIII.
Enjoy a performance by Men In Tights. This trio, renowned in the North American Renaissance Festival circuit, will perform a varied repertoire of Renaissance-themed comedies on a daily basis in the Casa Loma Library.
Show times are: 10:00, 11:30, 1:30 and 3:00. Seating is limited.
Zoltan the Adequate, magician, will perform unconventional magic in our garden gazebo. Zoltan, a Renaissance Festival favourite, will amuse and astound with bizarre geek magic combined with more traditional magic trappings. Show times are: 10:45, 12:30 and 3:45.
Sir Charles of Linton, with his birds of prey, will explain their role as hunters, entertainers and companions of Kings and Knights. Sir Charles will be available, in the village throughout the day to give visitors the chance to have a rare close look at these noble creatures.
The Luscious LimeyBirds - Sweet & Sassy Sirens with wicked wit & seamless a capella vocal music!This award winning act has performed for dignitaries & common-folk alike across Canada and the United States. The Limeybirds are known as one of the hottest "Don't Miss" acts on the Renaissance Festival Circuit.
Travel through our 800 foot tunnel to Sir Henry Pellatt's palatial stables, home to the Knights of Valour and three of their magnificent steeds. Hone your knightly skills with spear throwing and archery.
Academy of European Medieval Martial Arts - (A.E.M.M.A.)
Sat. July 2nd & Sun. July 3rd Only
Observe a training class; grappling; dagger plays; unarmoured fencing with
arming sword or longsword.
At 2:15pm ( Sat. July 2nd & Sun. July 3rd Only) witness a fight demonstration (10-15 minutes) involving 2 fully armed individuals.
A $1.00 surcharge per person (infants in arms free) applies to the Men in Tights show . Limited availability per show. Bench or floor seating only.
