Argh!
So yay! This weekend I am going to the mountains. With boys. And a couple girls. It will be a group of eight- 5 boys n 3 gals. Boys are: Manya, small Petr, Mira, Mila, Jakub (Kuba). Girls are: Joie, myself, Misa (small petr's gf).
Small Petr's parents have a cottage. So yay it's going to be fun...I think. We are going to build an igloo. Thats right, AN IGLOO! It's a 2 hour drive, and on Sunday Joie and I might have to hitchhike into town to catch the train back to Pardubice to be here by 1p. Argh we better make it!
Two nights ago I was playing table football (well last night too) and we were with Mikal and Eve...and we were comparing the noises of various animals in our countries. Did you know the rooster in the Czech republic doesn't say cock-a-doodle doo? It says kiri kiri koo! And dogs say "huff huff". I don't think I'll elaborate on that conversation any more than I just did. I will say that I laughed more that night than I have in the last 6 months combined. It was ggggreat!
I had my first czech lesson today, and it's making me want to shoot myself in da head. It is going to be SOOO difficult. Wow. The r with a thingy over it is the hardest sound to make IN THE WORLD. For real. FOR REAL. "Kolik trisni tolik visni?"
Anyways. I'm sleepy. I have my favorite class tonight. Then I promised eve and manya I'd go to che's but I'm tired and I don't really want to but oh well. I need to sleep lots. And prepare for the weekend. Not to mention that midterms are next week and I need to work on a review for my students this weekend, which I obviously won't get done if I'm in the mountains. Blargh!
