Lalalalalala....
So, what have I done recently? Played poker. I have so schooled James and Dave in poker. No matter what James says, he's just trying to save his pride...nope, I schooled him. I got an embarassingly large display of flowers and a box of chocolates delivered to my room from a certain special someone...and when I say embarassingly large, I mean just the perfect size, meaning the porter had to step aside in the hallway to let people pass because it was so monstrous. But I like big things. And of course chocolate goes w/ out saying ;-) So I went to spanish and arabic yesterday, learned some letters and where the emphasis goes...on spanish words...sad, I know. I'm in highest level spanish and we're learning about accents and when to use el and when to use la...que patetico, no? Lo mas patetico is that I'll probably still not get it. Today, went to IR, finished IR reading, went to arabic, learned 50 billion letters, worked for HOURS on arabic packets, went to spanish, talked about ay carmela, did some practice exercises involving el, la, un, una, and lo. Que exciting...BUT I MADE A NEW FRIEND!!!!! His name is kyle and he's a JYA (junior year abroad) and he's really nice! So now I know even more people in my hallway! I'm going to bed now though, because I have an INCREDIBLY BUSY DAY TOMORROW OMG IT'S SO FULL...classes from 10-1, lunch w/ lisa at 1, reading extra books for IR in the library from 2-5ish...grabbing dinner somewhere in there. belly dancing from 5-7 and then VB from 8-10:30. Oh god. SO BUSY! Talk to you all soon! I'm still working on postcards...but as you can see, I'm INCREDIBLY BUSY! But I'm trying hard! I have...two done. I'm taking bribes for who wants the next one! *hugs and smoochies*
