Books

I just finished reading Magician: Apprentice by Raymond Feist. It was pretty slow for about three quarters of the book, and I found myself getting anxious to finish it. Little did I know that some very important things that happened in the middle to last quarter of the book would not be resolved by the end. Dammit. It's the first book in a series. I finished the book, but the story is not done, so I feel like I will have gained nothing from reading it unless I finish the series. Sigh. I only really picked it up because I was looking for anything to read besides one of a zillion romance novels around work. Not that it wasn't good. I really do want to know what happens to the main characters and find out why the Tsurani are such bitches. But I'm really in the mood to start reading Star Wars books. Geek. I know. But we've been playing the new Star Wars RPG and Julia (one of our D&D/Star Wars players/DMs)'s husband gave me access to his whole Star Wars book collection while he's off in Iraq. I brought one home with me that I was going to start reading after I finished Magician: Apprentice.

Rar. Maybe I'll just have to come back to the Riftwar Saga later...
