Sunday I went horseback riding with Mel. She let me ride her horse while she rode somebody else's. I had so much fun. Though Ben (Mel's horse) reared up some while I was mounting and the pommel slammed into my ribs on my left side. Wasn't too bad right after it happened but by now it hurts like a bitch. Can't see much bruising from the outside... but feels like my ribs are a bit bruised, as are the muscles just below. Also... if you haven't been on a horse for something like nine years, a two hour ride isn't the best plan... especially if you plan to ride in the car for over three hours the next day. My back was quite a bit sore after that... but by now the back is fine.
Went to see my grandparents (dad's parents) on Monday. It was really nice to get to spend some time with them. Sat around and talked for a long time. I don't get to see them nearly enough.
Going to see Mina's new house tomorrow... then I have a job interview with a private preschool in the Lake Norman area on Friday.
