So I've spent all day making these randomized album covers. Seriously. It's sad.
Anyway, the rules!
1.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random The first article title on the page is the name of your band (you can discount disambiguation if you want).
2.
http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3 The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.
3.
http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/ The third picture will be your album cover.
4. Photoshop (or paint.NET or Gimp or whatever) the results together to create your new album!
My first random album was Life of Their Own, by Tom Higgins, which I've decided is the debut album of a four-piece band from Chicago. The album is decidedly lo-fi, since it was recorded in their bassist's basement and mixed with a fairly cheap computer program, but it's got definite charm with the fun-loving rhythms and the witty lyrics.
---
The second album I made was normalstateofconscience by Beijinger in New York. The name of the band, I decided, was a misnomer. The "band" is actually one man from Oslo who creates ambient, slightly morose compositions that flow on for ten to fifteen minutes without even trying.
---
My next album was The Dogs Go Wild by Christopher Pizzy. I imagine that this is a somber collection of jazz piano improvisations. It's played often in coffee houses because it's wildly intellectual and deep and stuff, and also on public radio, but nowhere else.
---
My fourth album was By Means of Language by Pinkneys Green. I concluded that they're a folk six piece band that plays mostly Celtic or Medieval European compositions, even though they're from Appalachian Kentucky. They do, however, have some very modern takes on the old compositions, and a few very inventive original compositions.
---
My fifth album (bear with me, there are two after this. I told you I spent all day on these) is not one of my favorites, but I love the album title. It's Long Words Bother Me, by Guy of Nantes. I couldn't really figure out anything about the album or anything, but I love the title.
----
The sixth album was daredtobegreat by Força Sindical, which I decided was angry, political girl rock. You'll see why with the cover.
----
And finally (Finally! Good job everyone!) is Take It All Away by Palais Royale, urban electronic music from France with a dystopian point of view.

EDIT! Late entry. Seriously, it's like 1:30am. It's Sachien with The Table of Eternity. I imagine that Sachien is a mournful male singer who sings mournful songs about lost love, early demise, and sunrises. He may play the piano, but it might be a guitar.
