The most intelligent are often the dumbest

It used to be (not sure if it still is) that in order to become a journalist on television, you had to have at least a degree in journalism. Every day that I watch our local newscassts (WJAC) I wonder if any of these people who are "reporters" have even graduated high school. Just watching the news at noon, there was a story on about a leaking propane tank at Juniata College. The authorities there evacuated a SMALL number of students (naturally). BUT, according to the reporter, IF this had happened during the regular school term, a LARGER evacuation would have been required. DUH! Some of the stuff on WJAC is too stupid not to be believed. I wonder if they ever even proofread what their copy is, just to make sure it makes sense. And now they have a girl who can't even speak english without sounding like she just came from the projects. Don't they even teach the proper way to speak for a journalism degree?? It's ASK not AX! It's SOMEBODY not SUMBUY! UGH! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! Time to change the channel. CNN take me away!
