(no subject)
the weather is bleak... as it should be today... when everyone is visiting graveyards... i did it yesterday tho... family trip to another town to light candles on all the family graves... it's strange... normally people stay there and pray or something... and we don't... but seems like graveyard is a good place to meet also alive family members as everyone goes there... and they start all those wonderful conversations about everything that happened recently... as if they couldn't just go to a cafe and have a drink and talk there... but, no! they meet like once a year at the graves... maybe they want the dead ones to hear all that as well...
my grandma was the best... met some old friend of hers and said with that disappointed voice: "well, damn... no one is dying recently on your side... so we don't get any phone calls from you..." and me and my mom wanted to fall to some grave only not to be there at that point.. fortunately that lady was too excited with the flowers and candles to understand what my grandma actually was telling her LOL
the worst part of that holiday is that every city is totally full of cars, buses and trams... everyone trying to get their flowers and candles to the graves... especially near the cemetaries it's impossible to drive... and i was silly enough to do that just this morning... wonderful experience... lots of police everywhere... everyone in a hurry and trying to be the first everywhere... as if the dead could run away if they came 10 minutes later...lol...
anyway... i have to go... eat some breakfast... sheesh... why do i always forget about eating? started my day with coffee and then as soon as i got home from that suicidal trip to drive my friend home (why the hell does she have to live near the cemetary?) i drank a beer to calm down, hehe... now time for food:)
