Ue wo Muite Arukou (Sukiyaki) lyrics

Apr 12, 2009 13:03

Yesterday I was trying to find the kanji lyrics to Ue wo Muite Arukou, aka. Sukiyaki, by the artist Sakamoto Kyu. However, despite my best efforts (Which probably weren't that great) I couldn't find them anywhere. The most I could find was the romaji version of it, and that's basically everywhere.

Thanks for the kanji version. I had not found nijimu (giving nijinda) and was very thankful to see the kanji and thereby be able to track down the word. My feeling for that line is: "counting blurred stars". Obviously meaning "blurred by the tears in my eyes". I appreciate the work you went through.

I've always liked this song a lot and being able to hum along with the original version and knowing some of the language is great fun! Thank you for sharing your work on this! I think you 've reached the "interested five" ,- at least!:-)
