This happened directly across the street from my house. I wasn't there but my mom and Amanda were. A little freaky. I saw the kid just yesterday. I was picking up the dog and some fabric from the house and was getting into the car when the kid walked out of the house into his car. I was struggling with my keys and I thought he was going to come over and try to help but I got them off my skirt before he could. I'm a pretty nervous person in general but I was a little nervous when I saw him.
Also, Amanda got home at 12:30 last night and saw him outside walking the family dog. I guess the dog wouldn't move so he looked at Amanda and kind of shrugged. 4 hours before he decided to murder his entire family. What the fuck.
A few months ago my mom and I were trimming the palm trees. (the ones featured in the photo on the news report) and he saw us struggling and came over offering to help. Other than that...no encounters.
I did meet the mom and dad though. Their daughters just graduated from high school and all of their friends parked in our driveway during the grad party. They were kind of drunk and saying that they were really proud.
Also, our crazy neighbors just moved out a couple of weeks ago. We figured that if anything was going to happen like that it would be between them. We have deep tire treads in our yeard from when the husband tried to run over the wife.
IN CONCLUSION::: My mom is never going to be able to sell that house!
