Whatever that is that's going around, I caught it. And then I worked on throwing it out of my system. (Or throwing it up, depending on how I felt on that particular day.) My personal lessons had to be canceled, so I hope Ichigo fared well enough on his own. I just decided to shy away from any sort of contact with anyone outside of medical personnel

A talking cat with super powers? That's an interesting one. I have yet to forget I'm human-shaped.

I'm guessing it has something to do with being cooped up with no one but my cat for company. Though I don't remember specifics, I was having more intriguing conversations with him than I've had with actual humans.

That makes sense, in the same way that my delusions of having my wings ripped out were based upon the birds flying outside my hospital room windows. Cats can be quite insightful.

And if more people were like cats, this would either be Heaven or Hell. I haven't decided which, so I'll just content myself with the idea that we're all merely human.

I don't know if I want to consider what the world would be like in that situation, but since you've obviously put thought into it I'll agree that it's best to content ourselves with that.
