To echo everyone else in this city:

Saying that I'm nauseated would be an understatement. I'm so tempted to point fingers, but this sort of thing is so beyond my previous experience that I wouldn't even know where to start, and I don't have all of the connections I used to.

I'm sure there are some people who take comfort in that.

There's been a lot of them lately. Murders, I mean.

There has. I hope you know enough to not put yourself in a dangerous situation, or that you can at least take care of yourself should you find yourself in that position.

Of course! I'm not going to do anything stupid. I was almost killed once. That's enough.

...That girl was a year younger than me.

Unfortunately, I think it's those near-death experiences that make us appreciate life even more.

It's disheartening when that sort of thing happens to someone so young. If you need someone to go to or even just some chocolate milk, I still keep to my regular office hours in the gym.

I'll come by! I'd like that. Edward's got me coming in before dark and leaving notes on where I'll be. All that parent stuff so my mom doesn't break his spine

Well, I'm sure Edward worries about you. He's more than welcome to come by as well, should he care about the finer points of fencing or want to learn how to appreciate "cow juice," as he calls it.

I bet Edward would like that, even if he does make fun of milk!
