Hi! I hail from South East Georgia, I am an old Highschool friend of ladiosa who recced you to me, and looking at your interests, I can see why. Wednesday afternoon posts are usually rambles about last night's Veronica Mars and House, M.D.. Thursday is usually almost exclusive Project Runway gushing, and yes, Tim Gunn pwns teh internets...and my soul (that totally needs to be an icon).

Other fandom indulgence is Harry Potter, and that's pretty much it...but I got my start in the X-Files fandom and I migrated later in to Jossverse.

In RL, I'm a music teacher and in school right now for an A.A. in English, and then I'll go on for a B.A.E. in music ed and hopefully later English Ed (I know, kinda going about it in reverse...but...eh...story of my life).

Politically, I'm an Eville Lefty and voted for Kerry. Bush rants happen every so often as well...and I come from a family full of lawyers (who, I can safely say, have actually originated and proudly earn every bad lawyer joke out there), so I'm fairly well-versed in politics. But, that said, I adore hearing all sides of arguments, so different opinions from mine are certainly welcome and encouraged.

I love books. 50bookchallenge eats my brain. I occasionally post reviews here, and you can check my latest selections from the past two months in my memories. I love cooking, so sometimes I'll post recipes. And I fancy myself a writer of sorts, so I'll also post original fiction.

Hope you don't mind me friending you, and you're certainly welcome to friend me back, but don't feel pressured to do so.

Well, not sure how much you know about me from ladiosa, but I'm guessing she included the fact that I'm from GA myself (middle- Eatonton the Mighty). :)

I adore Harry Potter books (I loathe the movies), Veronica Mars, Lost, Project Runway, and Battlestar Galactica. I'm also a big fan of the new Dr. Who series (9/10). Old skool fandoms include anything Jossian, Lord of the Rings and Beverly Hills, 90210. I realize they are a bit diverse, but I'm down with that.

Politically, I lean pretty far to the left, I get my news from The Daily Show and Colbert Report, and I truly dislike George W. Bush. :)
