(no subject)
I haven't updated in over a month... but I'm at the Listening Ear right now, and avoiding HW.. so I guess I shall do that.
So, everyone who doesn't keep in touch with me on a regular basis, but bothers to read my LJ, is probably wondering "what's going on with Courtney?"
Eh...
~Well, like all the other college kids, I'm working on studying for exams and last tests, and other... not fun stuff.
~I'm all set to move out in August, except I need a "guarantor" because my parents refuse to sign as one... and the lady wouldn't talk to me about how much I work. We have to make 3 1/2 times the monthly rent (which is 399.. that's everything though) and I only do that some months. My friend.. well, I don't know that I'd call him that anymore, Buddy, is getting away with not making that much.. but the lady there wouldn't even talk to me about it, she's just like "get someone else to sign... and if that doesn't work, we'll see what we can do. Ashlie (my future roomie:) ) says her aunt will sign for me if I pay the first months rent in advance.. which isn't a problem. But Ashlie hasn't talked to her aunt yet, so I don't know what's going to happen. I need to go in sometime next week though whether the aunt has been contacted or not. I'd like to move out at the end of next month actually.. but I don't know if that's going to happen. It would just be fun.
~I'm up for a permanent position at Orchard Court (one of the homes I work at) which it looks like I'm going to get. That's pretty awesome, cuz I really want a regular work schedule. O.C.'s my favorite place to work at too.. so that's kewl. My boss had a chat with me about it last time I was in. And it made it sound like I was going to get it- although it's not completely up to him.
~ Kyle and I ARE together for all those wondering. Us breaking up wasn't just a rumor, but we're back together now.. it's been like two weeks (we were broken up for ~ 3). Shitty stuff happened... but we worked through it. And we've made a commitment to continue and work through everything we are bound to mess up in our relationship. That's pretty kewl. Cuz I love him and stuff...
~This weekend I am BOXING. Well, tomorrow actually:). I'm gonna whoop Anna Marie:) Hopefully! Hehe... neither of us have trained at all, so we'll see how that goes. It's for some College Republican thing, which is silly.. cuz I am far from a Republican. But that's okay- I get to punch one.. hehe. And Bill says I can do it, cuz all the guys (except John probably) agree that I'd be "perfect except I'm a leftist." I am taking Andi with me (or atlest I think so..) and than we're heading to Holland on Saturday.. and I'm gonna spend a few days there. (come home Sunday) That'll be way fun.. going to the beach and what not.
~I may be going to China TWICE this upcoming year (like before January) which is pretty f'n awesome. But I don't know. I may go with my aunt for two weeks, and than with my parents and precious sis for two more weeks. It all depends how it lines up with school and what not though.
That's about it I guess... it's kind of hard to summarize up my life. But yeah... I'm doing good I guess. I seem to always be doing good.. even when I'm doing awful.
