I threatened Mom and Dad to throw in a broadway if they didn't come to an agreement on what to watch on the DVD player. Furthermore, I threatened to put in Evita. After they shuddered (well, it was starring Madonna after all), Dad promptly began singing "Oh, What A Circus". After I got over my shock, I realized that this particular song, introducing the whole damn broadway, was one of the most sarcastic songs in the show.

No wonder Dad was familiar with it. Not particularly interesting to anyone except me, but there you go.

You let down your people Evita
You were supposed to have been immortal
That's all they wanted, not much to ask for
But in the end you could not deliver
