Who watches over you?

So, the things. I got a gig watching this little boy (Nick). He has down syndrome, but he's basically just like any other kid. Olga's is still Olga's, working there a lot. Too much, in fact.

I got all A's this semester, a 4.0, if you can believe it. It's good to have stopped learning for a bit, but I miss the feeling of accomplishment. I guess I replaced it with work.

Kevin broke up with me this morning. Funny, it was always me doing the heart breaking. It'll be hard, as this time feels final (don't they all?), but I've accpeted it. Just looking for things to do to keep my mind off it. I don't want ugly frown lines embedded in my face, after all.

I brought the new puppy home a few weeks back. I named him Stacey, and he's very cute/playful. I'll post pictures when I get around to it.

It was my birthday a week or two back. Had some friends over, played some poker/Talisman, ate some burgers. It was a good time, always great to see the gang. Melissa had a couple get togethers, too, and I went to Mike's for poker a few days back as well. It's good to stay social. Normal, even.

Mike and I went to Windsor last weekend for some gambling/boozing/prostituting. Well, at least two of those. I lost money, but since it was my first time holding chips (not those of my friend's poker sets), I think I did alright. I'm surely looking forward to going again.

I've had this sinus thing for a few days now. It's pretty awful. But it allowed me to call into work, thus enabling me to lay around watching season 1 of Lost. I'm pretty happy with that, and now that I have my trusty ibook back, I can finish up and watch the rest of the DVDs I've been buying all semester.

Stacey is into the garden (again). Poor cucumbers.
