Huh.
I get the weirdest nesting urges at midnight - I just reorganized the hanging portion of my closet and cleaned out three dresser drawers (seriously, do I really NEED just-in-case pants that are four sizes too big? I'd rather not give myself the tacit permission to put the weight back on after managing to lose it, finally). And I put my shoes away for the most part. I will, however, draw the line at starting loads of laundry. That can wait until tomorrow afternoon.
On the other hand, the pile to go to Goodwill is huge and taking over the hallway. Because it's been a while. I also found some warm-weather things I'd put away in favor of cold-weather stuff and forgot to take out again. So yay. It's like getting new clothes for free! (I am SO disorganized - these are really nice shirts that were $$$ when i bought them, and then forgot I had them and haven't worn them in two+ years.)
Also, i still need to figure out shoes for khlara's reception day - I have the dress and the accessories, but the plain navy pumps seem oddly not-right, for all they match and look nice. They're just not quite the right look for the dress, I don't think... Can't decide. Oh dear. And how is it I have 5 pair of black pumps, but no black or cream sandals that fit? What the heck? (I'd rather not have to go to the mall again tomorrow. I'm all shopped out, as far as human interaction and budget goes.)
Sunday's to-do list:
- Jenny's Fabrics for red felt for Tea - need 59" by 46" or so, but I have to see what the bolt size is so I buy the right yardage.
- Supercuts/Fantastic Sams/some walk-in place (Ulta, maybe? They have a salon.) for some layers around my face, because my hair is a snaggletoothed mess. They're not allowed to touch the rest - I don't trust them to take off more than a half inch around my face. (Maybe other hair cutteries are good at it, but I have yet to find one that is.)
- Target/Walgreens for sensitive skin sunscreen 60+ and possibly a different moisturizer that's SPF 30 or higher. The Olay one is so heavy that by the time I use it sparingly enough to avoid breakout, I might as well have not bothered. Bah. (Why must skincare be so goddamned expensive?)
- Bed, Bath and Body Works. I think. I misplaced the paper that said where I supposed to go. Dammit.
That's all I can think of right now.
