Catwoman’s dark purple costume was difficult to see in the dark. Difficult, not impossible, which is why Batman saw her enter the museum through the third story window.
Finally, Catwoman thought admiring the Crown Jewels in her hand. The diamonds and rubies sparkled brightly and the gold illuminated part of the dark room.
“Return it.”
She almost dropped the jewels when she heard his voice. She would never admit he caught her off guard, but this time, she wasn’t expecting him at all.
“Or what…” Catwoman teased.
“I’ll take you down.”
“Down where?” she asked, “I’m not sure I want to go down anywhere.”
By now, Catwoman was twirling her finger along Batman’s arm. He struggled to keep from grabbing her. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to kiss her or hit her.
“Return. Them. Now.”
“Fine!" she yelled. She took a few steps back then threw the jewels at his head. By the time he placed them in their original location again, she was nowhere in sight.
