A new Doctor Who project! And I've got cake! WOO HOO!
XD, bit of a nerdy reference that one (I don't actually have cake. Yes, it's a lie. Another reference. XD).
So San Japan just announced that they are having a formal dance this year, and providing that I get the word back that I am allowed to wear my converse (AND I BETTER BE! Ten without high top trainers is a crime against humanity... not to mention not recognizable at all), I'm gonna start work on Rose's formal outfit... and I've decided it's going to be her dress from Idiot's Lantern.
I fully admit I just put this picture up because David Tennant's bum is just... oh my lord, I need to knock into this man when I'm in Edinburgh and sprain his ankle or something. Then I'd have to help him walk home. *totally has this planned out* Does he even live in Edinburgh? Meh, he's Glaswegian, and probably lives in London. I just mention Edinburgh because I'm staying there for a few days during my trip to Scotland before heading to Penicuik. And if I were to knock into David while I'm in Scotland, it would definitely be in Edinburgh and not Penicuik. XD And I'll stop rambling now.
Now I know if I were to make Robyn the waitress dress from Rise of the Cybermen that'd we'd be all matchy and stuff, but I just don't feel that's formal enough. And I really just want an excuse to make that dress. XD
I'll have to see if her current Rose Tyler wig is going to be long enough to updo though.
Bernie, as Harold Saxon, will already be perfectly formalized so I won't have to worry about anything except for her mask.
Oh yeah, the masks (stay put for this, its the best bit)!
It's a masquerade of course, that means we'll all need masks. I'm still drawing up a blank with what I'm going to do as Ten (I've already been suggested a banana mask and something based off the 3-D glasses), but I know Rose's will be pink (to match her dress) and most likely sequin-y, and the Master's will be a picture of John Simm's head that I happen to have on popsicle stick. XD
Jack's is another I'm not sure of. We'll have to see.
It promises to be fun however! That is if I'm able to go. If I can't wear the trainers I won't be.
