"Excuse me? I believe I ordered the Large. HELLO!!!"
I think I mentioned le coffee press that I picked up on the weekend, either here or on Plurk, I think and it is my new toy! I have had so much fun with this little manual coffee dealie that it's getting redonkulous! Ray's been watching me and laughing and saying 'omg you're so freaking cute' whenever I run to the kitchen to make him a treat.
So far, I've made regular coffee... well French Vanilla Decaf coffee (the hubby's ticker can't take too much caffeine :( ) but just the smell of it, the taste of it, perks me up. But last night, I made myself a really awesome latte when I frothed up some warm (skim!) milk with the coffee press after my coffee was ready and omg... just look!
And then, when Ray got home, I made him a Chai Latte! Which was awesome easy!
Step 1: put 2 chai teabags in the coffee press & pour water over top, let steep
Step 2: heat up milk
Step 3: fish out the tea bags and pour the milk right in with the brewed tea
Step 4: pump the coffee press filter dealie (technical terms eh?) until you've reached optimal frothiness! Dust with cinnamon/chocolate flakes/nutmeg/whatevers
And Ray proceeded to down the sucker in 2 minutes! So, I'm just trying to figure out what to make next. Any suggestions?
