Y'all gonna make me lose my mind
Okay, maybe not massive but a good amount.
So last week was the birthday, the 31st birthday ... I am now in my thirties *sigh* I didn’t count last year because I was ‘just’ 30... but now I’m in my 30's. bleh
Oh well, got lots of nice pressies and lots of birthday wishes, some were belated but that’s okay :) I wasn’t even expecting presents! There was yarn (of course) and a trip to the LYS (local yarn shop), lunch in Niagara-on-the-Lake in which I found out that beer and carrot cake go surprisingly well together; flowers galore and Ray got me some gorgeous knitting books and now I smell really yummy cause of what red_bansidhe gave me :D
We got birthday pizza from Fabio’s and even some greek food later in the weekend from Joe Feta’s.
Easter was great too. I went to church with my mom and dad and there was a play.... get this.... CSI: JERUSALEM!! LOL I had to go just to see it. It was really well done too and it made a lot of sense, with a couple corny jokes thrown in of course. Then the meal was awesome after Ray and his Dad got out of Mass and we all had prime rib after watching the Masters all afternoon.
It was a pretty good week, I finished a sock for nana (for mother’s day) and I started the other one, finished a birthday pressie for stormythekitty and then started a pair of socks for myself :)
So it was good, I just wish that everyone starts to feel better soon, there’s a nasty cold going around and it always seems to happen just when the weather can’t seem to make up it’s mind.
